Welcome to TanitEverything you need for an easy, comfortable stay — how the villa works, what's included, the services on offer, a little local know-how, and who to call. The rules are short and sensible: they protect the property, the wildlife around us, and your peace and quiet.
A handful of guidelines to keep Tanit beautiful and running smoothly for you and every guest who follows.
Check-in from 4:00 PM, check-out by 11:00 AM — or whatever we agree together. Share your travel times and we'll have everything ready.
The villa is designed for up to 12 guests. Please keep to your confirmed group size, and clear any extra visitors with us in advance.
Tanit is a tranquil retreat, not an events venue — parties and large gatherings are not permitted. By local law, quiet hours begin at 8:00 PM. Guests may not bring external sound systems or speakers onto the property; doing so will result in the booking being cancelled through Airbnb.
To keep the villas fresh, please smoke outdoors only — ashtrays are provided on the terraces.
No animals inside the houses unless arranged with us beforehand. Friendly local creatures sometimes wander by — tell us if any are bothering you.
Our water-treatment system lets you flush toilet paper, but please bin all sanitary products, wipes and similar items rather than flushing them.
In our hot, humid climate, please don't set the A/C below 20 °C — lower settings freeze the pipes and leave you with no cool air.
Maximum 25 km/h on the property and through town. Slower driving protects pedestrians and animals, and keeps the dust down on our unpaved roads.
Use the in-room safe for anything valuable, and never leave belongings in a car or on the beach. Tanit isn't responsible for lost or stolen items.
Please use the cutting boards provided rather than the countertops, handle glassware with care, and replace the cover on the billiard table after play. Damage or breakages are charged.
Sort waste into the labelled bins — plastic, paper & card, aluminium, glass — and rinse containers first. Bins are in the kitchen or cleaning closet.

Please hang towels to dry and look after the keys and linens. Should anything be lost or ruined, these are the replacement charges.
